These intriguing Russian folk tales have been translated by the pupils at School 325, St Petersburg, Russia in a trail-blazing working co-operation with their British contemporaries at Townfield Primary School, Wirral, UK.

The collection includes the well-known story of the Enormous Turnip and a rather unusual tale about Father Frost. Beautifully illustrated by the pupils of both schools, the book is a facinating and enjoyable read.

The book has been supported by the British Council and has an endorsement by Bob Wareing MP, chair of the UK All Parliamentary Group on Russia. The book will be available from Jan 12th 2007.
